The cells were seeded in 24-well plates (1 × 105) and kept for 24 h to attach to the well bottoms. Then, SJB-SHE (62.5~250 μg/ml) introduced to each well and incubate for another 1 h and stimulated using LPS (1 μg/ml). After 24 h, cells and culture supernatants were used to determine viability (MTT) and NO production, respectively. Experiments were triplicated to evaluate the data, and the mean value is expressed as ± SD. *p < 0.05, **p < 0.01
