  1. Number of transgenic fish was estimated based on the PCR typing of RFP-negative fish. Gonadic sex of fish at 6 WPH and 7 WPH was judged based on the microscopic examination of squashed gonad specimens, while sexing of the fish at 8 WPH to 10 WPH was done by direct examination of gonads with the unaided eye
